Outcome

The governing board reversed its disaffiliation vote.

An unelected board voted to pull a rural public broadcaster out of the national system. Contact details were hard to find and there was no existing grassroots infrastructure. Working with a partner firm, Influent met supporters where they were: a familiar "add your name" step that led into a short story prompt. Parents, educators and rural families explained what the station meant to them, and their messages reached the board's hard-to-find inboxes.
